:: The town of Celaya
Celaya was named city on December 7, 1658 by the Viceroy Francisco Fernandez de la Cueva. The development of this great city has led it to be the third most populous municipality in the state of Guanajuato, which is located in the center of the three largest metropolitan areas of the country: Monterrey, Guadalajara and Mexico City, and the average distance to the northern border with the United States and south with Guatemala, it is equidistant to the center of the Mexican Republic in the so-called Bajio region.

The companies are located mainly on the Celaya-Salamanca, Celaya-Queretaro, Celaya-San Miguel de Allende Highways, this being the most important settlement because the industrial city is located there. The International Airport of Guanajuato is an hour away. Celaya also has a medium-range domestic airport.
